ビアクォーツとは
ビアクォーツは、ビールを思わせる黄褐色から茶色の色調を持つクォーツに用いられる流通名です。鉱物としては二酸化ケイ素からなる水晶の仲間で、色の濃淡や透明度には個体差があります。モース硬度は7で劈開はありませんが、強い衝撃や急激な温度変化は避けて扱うのが適しています。
