マラカイトとは
マラカイトは、銅を含む炭酸塩鉱物で、和名を孔雀石といいます。鮮やかな緑色と濃淡の縞模様が特徴で、銅鉱床の酸化帯にアズライトなどと共に産出します。モース硬度は3.5～4と低く、酸や熱にも弱いため、汗や薬品、強い摩擦を避けて扱うのが適しています。
