カイヤナイトとは
カイヤナイトは、和名を藍晶石というアルミニウムのケイ酸塩鉱物です。青色は鉄やチタンの影響によるもので、結晶の方向によってモース硬度が大きく異なる二硬性が特徴です。明瞭な劈開を持ち、加工には技術を要します。青のほか、緑色などの結晶も産出します。
